The authorities of Warsaw Commodity Clearing House have been elected for a new term of office.

During its proceedings, which took place on the day of 29.06.2015, the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Warsaw Commodity Clearing House (WCCH), a company belonging to GPW Group, worked out appraisal of activities of the Company in the year of 2014. The General Meeting has granted a vote of approval, regarding fulfilling their duties, for members of the Company’s statutory bodies. The Supervisory Board has been elected for the new term of office. The following persons have been included into the Supervisory Board: Ireneusz Łazor, Marek Wodnicki, Radosław Ignatowicz as well as Michał Markowski.

At present WCCH clears all the transactions, which are entered into on the markets being run by Polish Power Exchange, through carrying out settlement of the exchange commodities deliveries in appropriate registers or with transmission systems operators as well as through pecuniary clearing for parties of the transaction, carried out in payer banks of the parties.

The Warsaw Commodity Clearing House’s Supervisory Board has elected the Management Board for the new (third) term of office. The Supervisory Board has appointed Mr. Dariusz Bliźniak for the post of the Management Board President and Mr. Andrzej Kalinowski for the post of the Management Board Member.

Fact of including us among the members of the Management Board of next term of office is considered by us as an evidence of appreciation of our previous activities and expression of faith – the President, Mr. Dariusz Bliźniak is stressing. We will face new challenges and the time of intensive work. We are mobile organization, we have excellent and creative team. That allows for our development on Polish markets and enables us to put forward our offer for clearing international markets.
