Amendments to IRGiT Regulations – amended Regulations of the Exchange Clearing House (Commodity Market)

  • Izba Rozliczeniowa Giełd Towarowych S.A. (IRGiT) has amended the Table of Fees in the Regulations of the Exchange Clearing House (“Regulations”).
  • The change applies to the fee for the service of agricultural commodities specified in items 8.1 and 8.2 of section II of the Table of Fees.
  • The amendment comes into effect on November 1, 2020.

In connection with the development of the Agricultural Commodity Market organized by the Polish Power Exchange and cleared by IRGiT and introduction of the service of new agricultural commodities, an amendment has been made to the Table of Fees in the Regulations of the Exchange Clearing House (Commodity Market), in items 8.1 and 8.2 of section II, consisting in changing the title of the fee. After the amendment, the fee for clearing and settlement applies to all agricultural commodities traded in tons.

Consequently, the fees for clearing and settlement of agricultural commodities traded in tons will be uniform, differentiated only through specification of the transaction type, separately for session transactions (item 8.1) and transactions concluded in auctions (item 8.2).

As at the date of entry of the amended Regulations into force IRGiT will start to charge the fees for clearing and settlement of transactions pertaining to rye.
